Our client, a global financial services advisory firm seeks a Junior HR Administrator to join their team in Hong Kong. This is a regional role and supports the People Function across six offices in Asia-Pacific.
This role provides valuable exposure to learn about HR best practices and employment laws in various jurisdictions and will be actively involved in regional talent programmes and initiatives, such as graduate recruitment, talent development, training, wellness, benefits, and many more. Most importantly, their lean and flat team structure provides role holder the room to learn, develop, express ideas, and make an impact conscientiously.
What the role entails:
Drive and project-manage a wide array of talent, early careers and training programmes in the region. Proactive in managing project timeline, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing ideas and research findings in meeting discussions.
Be the first point of contact for employees inquiring on diverse range of employment matters.
Apply judgement in seeking support and escalating as needed.
Develop a wide range of communication, documents, and presentations for internal audiences. These include internal announcements, newsletters, programme leaflets, invitations, management reports and meetings etc.
Assist to manage entire employee lifecycle, ranging from onboarding, probation assessment, appraisals, remuneration reviews, offboarding and alumni processes.
Working closely with internal Finance team and external vendors on payroll and benefits administration and work visa applications.
Diligent maintenance of HR systems and employee records to ensure our database is accurate and up-to-update. Appreciates the importance of data integrity.
Assist in preparation of HR reporting and analytics. Curious to further interpret data and generate insights and next steps.
Work on ad hoc tasks and research as assigned.
Core Competencies and Qualifications Include:
Native English speaker preferred. An effective communicator of both in English and Chinese. Other regional language proficiency is a plus.
Up to 2-3 years of professional working experience. Fresh graduates who demonstrate exceptional calibre and matching experiences will be considered.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel and Powerpoint are must)

Confidentiality and discretion in handling company and employee information. Sensitive in handling internal relationships.
Hands on, organized and detail oriented. High level of accountability.
