As a Billings Manager at an international law firm, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the billing operations, financial transactions, and client invoicing processes. Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate and efficient billing procedures, timely collection of payments, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the finance department, partners, and clients to resolve billing issues and maintain strong financial relationships.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage all billing day-to-day activities.
Develop and implement effective billing processes and procedures specific to the legal industry.
Monitor and analyse billing data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client guidelines.
Review and approve billing invoices, statements, and related documents for errors or discrepancies.
Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries.
Stay updated on billing regulations, legal industry trends, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ business administration/ finance or equivalent qualification is preferred.
5 years of billing management experience or above in sizeable law firm
Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
Strong presentation skills
Proficient in MS office
Familiarity with E-billing Hub
