Our client is a leading US law firm with a boutique office set-up in Hong Kong, and currently looking for an Office Manager to run its office. The successful candidate must be able to work autonomously, be solutions-oriented, and possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day-to-day office administrative operations
Work closely with the Managing Partners and Partners to ensure smooth operations in the office
Work closely with managers in other offices in the APAC region
Work closely with the Compliance Team to liaise with the law associations in US and UK
Responsible for all office administration, HR, and finance-related matters
Liaise with the US headquarters for HR policy and implementation
Responsible for the transactions in the company’s bank account and prepare regular reports to the headquarter
Implement manuals and policies
Responsible for any office improvement plans
Manage office floorplans, facilities, and insurance
Mentor and supervise legal secretaries and receptionist
Handle all local government liaison, registration, records, and licensing
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree holder in management or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of related management experience with comparable scope and responsibility in a law firm or other professional services environment
Strong communication skills in both oral and written English and Cantonese
Strong technical skills in human resources are important
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills
